Question:

Assalaam O Alaikum, As you are aware of the sectarian conditions in Pakistan specially in Karachi, if you get noticed as Shia, you are deprived of basic rights, you are at danger of life and also job, business is also made difficult. In these conditions is it ok to say salat while folding hands and without using sajdigah? Your earliest reply shall be highly appreciated.

Answer:

If the situation is dangerous and requires Taqiyyah, then according to
Taqiyyah rule it is allowed to pray with them like them.

Question:

Salam un alike 1-what if im on the way travelling and it is Salat time and we did not reach 45km for example im at 43km do i shorten the Prayer or do i have to reach above 45km in order to shorten the Prayer ? 2-How do i pray in a airplane if i dont know the direction of Qibla and Salat timings? 3-do i pray as a traveller if both ways equals 46km? for exalmple 23 km leaving and 23 km coming back? Question:

Thank you for your reply to the previous question 2743 but it seems you have answered it under the perspective of Hijab. Will this also stand true for salaat/ praying that only a chador which covers the required parts of a woman is enough and that the inner clothes can be shorter (eg. Short sleeves). As per syed sistani. Please clarify

Answer:

If the outer dress is covering the whole body, no need for another Hijab
inside. This is for Salaah as well as Hajib.

Question:

According to syed Sistani, should the dress of a woman (which is inside the chador) should also cover the full body (eg. Full sleeves) despite the fact that the chador worn over it while praying covers the full body?

Answer:

=E2=80=8BIf the Chador which is the outer dress covers the whole body, then=
it is
enough for Hjiab and the female does not need to wear another Hijab under
the Chador.
