Condemnation of Attack on Nice, France

Dated: July 15, 2016

WABIL STATEMENT ON NICE, FRANCE

World Ahlul Bayt Islamic League (WABIL) condemns the utterly appalling devastating attack on the people of Nice killing over 80. Our condolences to the people of France in their hour of grief.

However, we at WABIL must stress that in offering our condolences, we do not feel obliged to apologise in any way shape or form whenever a person of Muslim heritage perpetrates a criminal act against humanity – in the same way that all white Christian people or all black people do not feel the need to apologise for crimes committed by white Christian or black criminals respectively.  Violent rampant killings are condemned by us as followers of the Islam of the Prophet and his progeny, whether they take place in France, Syria, Iraq or elsewhere.

The West is seeing a surge in radicalised violence, perpetrated by those of a skewed ungodly and unIslamic interpretation of Islam. This radical anti-human ideology is encouraged by hate preachers and set in motion by those who have opposed peaceful co-existence for centuries. Sadly France has openly funded the rebel criminal factions which are nothing short of wings of ISIS, in Syria. This same wahabi-inspired terrorist ideology is now wreaking havoc across the world.

WABIL stands with the people of France and urges the French government to withdraw all its support and funding of terrorism in other countries to ensure the safety of its nation, by helping to build a safer world.
