Condemnation of ISIS Attacks on Beirut and Paris, November 2015
World Ahlul Bayt Islamic League (WABIL) condemns the utterly appalling devastating suicide attacks on Beirut and Paris on the 12th and 13th November respectively, carried out by the illegitimate terrorist organisation ISIS. We condole the families of the victims and the people of both Lebanon and France.
ISIS is an anti-Islamic, unholy, blood-thirsty terror organisation, funded, armed and equipped by equally terrorist-minded bodies and states. The arming and funding of ‘moderate rebels’ is a direct way of arming ISIS, for their operatives are none other than the savages who are killing and maiming innocent civilians in both Syria and Iraq on a daily basis. WABIL condemns all groups who are the backbone and invisible support network of ISIS. WABIL condemns all states who have created this menace. We call upon the international community to take decisive action to eradicate this threat.
The attack in Beirut in Shia populated areas is a clear indicator that ISIS continues to consider Shias as its main target, still labelling Shia devout Muslims as ‘infidels’. We urge the international community to afford specific protection of Shias who are facing a genocide of huge proportions now.
The attack on Paris confirms our fear that Wahabi centres are spreading hatred against non Wahabis and non-Muslims, and have cultivated a mentality which can commit such heinous crimes against humanity. We are also worried to observe that under the guise of refugee status, ISIS terrorists have infiltrated Europe and as per their threats, they have now proved that they will attack innocent civilians, regardless of race, age, and faith. Further, their activities are being planned from their terror cell networks stretching from Syria and Iraq, across the world. WABIL stands with all those who fight against terror and urges the international community to really support the efforts against terrorism and isolate those regimes who are indirectly facilitating ISIS and buying oil from their gangs, thus enabling them to continue destroying human lives.
WABIL believes that just condemning the terror is not enough, as the terrorist groups are spreading among lay young persons, their deviating theology of extreme Wahabism which instigates killing and terror by falsely calling it Jihad. The danger from terrorism can never be eliminated without tackling the theological root of terrorism which is extreme Wahabism. Unfortunately, such a deviant theology is been taught in hundreds of centres in Europe claiming it as Islamic teachings, while it actually goes against the basic teachings of the Quran and the Prophet Mohammad (SAWA).
Let all human beings stand united against terrorism not only by condemnation statements but also through action to counter the deviant theology of terrorism taught by Wahabi extremism.
WABIL offers its prayers for the victims of these terror attacks.
