Question:

Question ID- 4978, I think there was a malfunction so I’m sending the question again: I would appreciate it if you’d answer them one by one, Wassalm. Follower of Ayatollah Sistani 1)After urinating I was washing myself and during that I had a doubt that i only washed myself once but because I usually have doubts like these which make me stay in the bathroom for very long so I ignored it, was that fine or do I consider myself najis since I don’t know if I washed myself the second time or not? 2) Again I usually doubt a lot whilst in the bathroom and I doubted about a thing whilst cleaning myself but I didn’t know if I had been made tahir for sure now I can’t remember what exactly my concern was, do i just ignore it or do I act upon me not being sure if I’ve been made tahir as an obligatory precaution?

Answer:

Simply, ignore such doubts.

Question:

I thought my wound had scabbed therefore I washed it under water now when I used cotton to clean it blood came out and I couldn’t really see a scab anywhere, do i consider it being dried blood instead of scab therefore making the area najis since I washed it with qalil water or do I assume that the scab came off even though I couldn’t see it and the area is only najis when the wound started bleeding? Follow ayatollah sistani

Answer:

Only if you see the blood, then the area of it is Najis.

Question:

Noticed a scratch on my foot and then I came home and washed it and rubbed my finger on it too, now I don’t know if it scabbed before I washed it or if there was blood on it that could’ve been removed, is it permissible for me to think that it scabbed beforehand and that I didn’t have to remove any blood from it thus making it pak or do I rule it as najis because of the scab which shows that blood must’ve come out?

Answer:

Everything is Taahir for you unless and until you are sure that it is Najis.
