Question:

Follow up to question id 4969, thank you for answering! Just need a bit clarification: 1) What about this rule from Ayatullah Sistani’s website? Ruling 172. If a person washes an object with water and he becomes certain that it has become pure, but afterwards he doubts whether he removed the intrinsic impurity from it or not, he must wash it again with water until he is certain that the intrinsic impurity has been removed. Also one more thing: I doubt excessively is it permissible for me to ignore these doubts even whilst washing? For e.g I doubt if I’ve reached all the parts of the outter anus whilst washing it and it makes me sit the washroom for a long time, is it okay if I ignore these doubts or do i need to be certain I reached everywhere? 2) is the discharge that comes out gradually najis?

Answer:

1. If the intrinsic impurity ( Ain Nijasat) was not removed, or doubted,
then you must be sure about its complete removal.
Repeated doubts should be ignored.
2. Gradual discharge which is not with or after orgsm is not Najis.
