Question ID 4895 Sunday 11th of August 2019
Question:
Salam alakium I am really confused about puryifing a najis floor or carpet. On sistanis website it says: If the carpet and the mattress become najis by the elements that do not have a mass (i.e., do not leave any marks or stains on the carpet or the mattress), it can be purified by sprinkling water over it from a kettle or a jug once until the pure water covers the impure area, and then wipe the water away by using a piece of cloth or a vacuum cleaner, etc. Then it says: It is possible to purify the carpet or the mattress which has become najis by the elements that do have a mass (i.e., do leave marks or stains like blood or semen) by the same method as mentioned in No. 39 provided that the impure element is removed while washing or prior to washing. The only difference is that if it is purified by the qalil water [e.g., from a jug or a glass], then the water removed from the carpet will be considered najis as a confirmed opinion and not as an obligatory precaution. When I remove the water which is najis some water will always remain whether you use a cloth or vaccum cleaner. It is impossible to remove all the water so how can the floor or carpet become tahir? And is there a difference when making the floor tahir compared to a carpet? Wa Salam alakium
Answer:
It is the Same rule with out difference.

Question:
is it necessary to wipe the anus with hand whilst washing away the najasat to make it pak or just using water pressure is enough?
Answer:
It is obligatory to remove the Nijasat then wash the Najis area. Wiping
makes you sure that the Nijasat has been totally removed. If you are sure
that the Nijasat has been totally removed then it is enough to wash the
area with water.
