Question ID 1291 Sunday 13th of April 2014

Question:

If a person thinks something wrong about Allah (s.w.t)or in matters of faith, but afterwards realizes he was wrong and accepts it, will the sweat and the body if the person who was thinking wrong about Allah (s.w.t)or in matters of faith be najis? Will he be a shia since he was a shia?

Answer:

Having doubt in religious matters does not have an effect on the status of
faith of the person as a Muslim especially when the person is aware that it
is just a doubt and not a wrong faith.
Wrong faith which denies any basic fact like The existence of Allah,
Tawheed, prophethood etc takes the person away from faith.
When the wrong faith is over, it's effect is also over.
