Question ID 1167 Friday 21st of February 2014

Question:

Since day one, physical interaction with wife remained very limited (with sex many a times after two to three months), largerly due to lack of her desire and denial/ excuse (seems premenantly effected by illegitimate pre-matrimonial relationship). What options I must prefer; masturbution, mutah, another nikkah, divorce?

Answer:

You should never loose hope in the mercy of Allah who can cure your wife
and make her a good wife. You need to seek medical advice and counselling
for both of you. Try to treat her condition as much as you can. There are
thousands of similar cases which were treated and cured. Never loose hope
in Him.

Question ID 1158 Monday 17th of February 2014

Question:

Assalamu Alaikkum. I was proposed to 1 of my cousins 1 year before and I used to talk with him daily via phone eventhough it\\\'s not allowed in Islam. through the conversation in phone, we hv become to the position that we cannot live without each other. I know that the thing which I did was completely wrong but I talked with him because he\\\'l be my future husband. now the problem is that I saw some pictures in fb that he is closed with a girl. that is that it seems they\\\'re hugging. I don\\\'t know what ti do now. he says that he did it only for the photo without thinking the impact and he feels sorry about that. and he says that no girl is there in his mind than me. he prays 5 times properly and dies nafils also. if I marry him, what may be the consequences? if I don\\\'t marry him, will it make sin because we talked with each othet by thinking that we\\\'ll marry soon. plz reply me soon

Answer:

Talking to him an intimate talk is not allowed in Islam. You need to recite
an Aqd (agreement) of temporary marriage which allows such intimate talk.
If he is promising you that no other girl in his life other than you , you
should not refuse him unless you have concrete evidence that he is not
telling the truth.
