Salam alakium To follow up on Question ID 4683 In some cases I will have to request the court that the counterparty shall pay the fee with interest because of a breach in the contract. The request to pay with interest is seen as a normal procedure as it is the right of the client. Hope that was clear enough. Wa salam

Answer:-  Demanding interest on any outstanding amount due to delay is not permitted in Sharia.
You can ask for damages if you or your client have suffered a damage.

Question ID  4366  -  Non Muslims Q&A
Salam alakium I am a follower of Sayyed Sistani (may Allah prolong his life). I have read that a kafir is najis according to Sayyed Sistani. I have a big problem with this, as my hands are constantly wet. I want to go to visit many asian countries in the future but I am afraid to make everything najis because I can not wash my hands every time I am at a meeting or work with someone. What do I do? Do I regard the people tahir as long as I don´t know their faith? Statistically it will be hard to find anyone who are from ahlul kitab there. What if I want to eat at their resturants. Can I just go there and eat without asking if they touched it with their wet hands?? Please helm me out.

Answer:-  Wa Alaykum Assalam wr wb
If you are sure that your hands became Najis, you don’t need to wash them immediately, but only before Wuzu or Namaz.
If you are sure that the food is Najis, you will not be allowed to eat it.

Question ID  4267  -  Non Muslims Q&A
Salam alakium If I go to countries like China, India and Japan should I then take people as tahir even though I know that there almost exist no people from ahl al kitab in these places? What about if I want to go buy some food from a restaurant there? Should I then ask people if they are from ahl al kitab or can I take the food as tahir? I mean it is almost certain even if I don´t ask them. And I think that nobody can cook food without getting their hands wet. So if I meet a man from these places should I take him as tahir or shoud I ask him about his religion? wa salam

Answer:-  Most of the people in these countries you mentioned are not from Ahlul Kitab, so you can not deal with them as Ahlul Kitab unless you unless you have an evidence that this individual is Muslim or from All Kitab.
Food touched by non Muslims who are not Ahlul Kitab with wetness is not Taahir at all.

Question ID  4240  -  Non Muslims Q&A
salam alakium I live in Western Europe. I am studying law and will soon finish my studies. I have some questions about wroking in a non muslim government. Is it permissbile to process cases of asylum in the country I live even if the laws of the non muslim country does not correspond with islamic laws? For example a Western country will usually provide shelter for people who are prosecuted because they are gay. But a the same time they also give asylum for people who are muslims who come from war. But you can´t say you will process one case and not the other. And another question please. When working for a non muslim government as a jurist you will have to draft legislation of proposals accordingly within the framework of the country I live in. This means I will maybe have to draft proposals which contradict islamic laws. Is that permissible? I would like to notice that as a jurist in a non muslim government I will only carry out what the government whats me to do. So it is not me deciding the laws but I will have to make the laws come true. Please provide me with as much details, thank you. wa salam.

Answer:-  It is allowed to help people who suffer from tyrant governments to get
shelter and protection from danger, but it is not allowed to help in any
case which is based on wrong. You are not allowed to take part in any wrong
case even if you are been ordered by your local government . You must
reject taking any wrong case because Islam does not allow helping any wrong
case.
