Condemnation of Suicide Attack on Al-Sadiq Mosque Kuwait
Dated: June 26, 2015
World Ahlul Bayt Islamic League (WABIL) utterly condemns today's violent terrorist attack during Jumah prayers at the Al-Sadiq mosque in Kuwait. We offer our sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs and those injured, men and children, who in this holy month of Ramadhan were fasting and praying. We equally condemn today’s attacks in France where a civilian was decapitated and in Tunisia where holiday makers were indiscriminately shot at resulting in many deaths.
These despicable inhuman acts by cowardly ungodly people, who shoot at families enjoying their vacations together, and who blow up, maim and kill pious God-fearing people while they fast and pray, must be condemned by the governments of Kuwait, Tunisia, and all peace-loving people. This month is considered holy, sacred, and specially designated for devotions. It is utterly shameful that enemies of humanity masquerading as Muslims kill people in this month.
WABIL urges the Kuwaiti authorities to capture and deal appropriately with the perpetrators who orchestrated this deadly attack: the Saudi bomber may have blown himself up but the orchestrators are still at large. We urge all humans, whether Muslim or non-Muslim, Sunni or Shia, to join us in condemning this terrorism and we urge the international community to find ways to curb the Saudi terrorism influence spreading rapidly across the world.
