Question:
salam alakium Please answer this as soon as possible as I am in a hurry. When I was young I did some bad things. I have now repented and Inshallah will Allah (SWT)forgive me, i donĀ“t know. I am now writing with a girl whom I intend to marry. I cam across this surah and verse in the quran: The fornicator does not marry except a [female] fornicator or polytheist, and none marries her except a fornicator or a polytheist, and that has been made unlawful to the believers. (Surah24 verse 3) I have not comitted fornication, but I did some homsexual acts when I was younger and watched bad stuff on the internet of homsexuals. Later when I grew up I could not stop watching it, but now I have stopped watching this disgusting things. Is am allowed to marry a pious woman? I have repented from my heart and I promised Allah (SWT) that I will never ever do it again. wa alakum salam.

Question ID 4180 Wednesday 31st of January 2018
Question:
Salam alaikum Sayed Moosawi. 3 months ago I got married by mutah. I married myself by reciting the full sigha "Zawajtuka nefsi...." and my husband accepted "Qabiltu". However, I have two concerns. Firstly, no mahar was specified and secondly no date/ duration for the marriage. We are both muslim, I am a widow aged 50 and my husband, aged 60 and in a permanent marriage. The marriage has been consummated. My worry is whether the marriage is valid, or can it be interpreted as permanent. Please advise as I am worried I am committing zina. Thank you - Jazak Allah Khair!
Answer:
You must mention the Mahar during reciting the Aqd. You need to recite the
Aqd properly mentioning the Mahar and period of time.
If no period was mentioned during reciting the Aqd, it will be permanent
marriage.
