Question:

As Salaamun Ale Kum, There is a Hadeeth of Imam Ali (a.s)on the lines of.... there is rizk of man which he runs after and there is rizk of man which runs after him, it will get to him no matter how much he runs away from it. My question is, is the hadeeth authentic? And if yes what is the role of hard work in all this?

Answer:

This Hadeeth is authentic and it informs that Rizq is two types, the first
type is the Rizq which you seek it and go after it which needs hard work to
get it, and second type is the Rizq which comes to you with out hard work
like inheritance , gifts ,unexpected income, etc.
The first type of Rizq can not be achieved with out hard work, but no one
can be sure that he will difinetly get what ever he seeks or tries for. We
need to work hard through lawful ways to earn Rizq and never forget the
factbthebevery good is from Allah (SWT).

Question:

Assalamu Alaikum Your Eminence, I would greatly appreciate it if you could aid in the interpretation of the following ahadeeth: “لاتتفأل بالقرآن.” “There should be no fortune telling with the Quran.”[al-Kafi, vol. 2, p. 629] عدة من أصحابنا، عن سهل بن زياد، عن محمد بن عيسى، عن بعض رجاله عن أبي عبدالله (عليه السلام) قال: لا تتفأل بالقرآن

Answer:

Quranic verses are not meant to be used in fortune telling but to guide to
the rightiousness and piety. Fortune telling itself is not recommended and
using Quranic verses for this purpose is doing injustice to this greatest
book. It is like misusing the Quranic verses in a matter which is much
lower than the purpose of it.

Question:

Assalaam I'm born in a Shia family, so obviously the major knowledge that i have is of the Shia side of Islam. So what I want to know is how can one be assured that he's on the right path of Islam (haq), because the Shia had good logical answers on every aspect of the incidents etc.. for example fadak, incident of the door, thursday, battles with muawiya and aisha etc.. and the most important issue about the caliphate after the demise of the prophet (s). But so do the Sunnis have good logical answers on these very issues/incidents. Each one (sunnis and shias) have good points. And the majority of muslims don't have the books on their hand they have to believe what they hear what their scholars tells them. Can you please explain how one can be sure of his deen that he's on the guided path of Allah (stw)? Thanks

Answer:

Proper knowledge leads to firm faith in the True Islam. You may read (Then
I was Guided) by Dr Tijani Samawi of Tunisia, or The Right Path By
Sharafuddin or any other book in this subject. Our evidences can never be
compared with the claims of others. You can not put right and wrong equally
if you go through the evidences.
You may visit www.al-islam.org
If you read Arabic, you may visit www.aqaed.com where you can find
statements of hundreds of ex Sunni / Wahabi scholars who became Shia after
research.
I you have any question in this regard, you may write.
