Question: Assalamu alaykum dear sayed inshaAllah you are well. I am inshaAllah intending to perform umrah in the last few days of shawwal around 27th of Shawwal inshaAllah. I will be in makkah for 2-3 days and then leave on the last day of shawwal to madinah and then back to my home country. I am not intending to perform hajj at all this year. I have read that the months of hajj are shawwal, thil Qadha and Thil Hijah and these are the months of umrah tamattu only although im not sure if this is accurate or not. My question is if I am performing just umrah on its own at the end of shawwal and i do not intend to perform hajj this year at all, should I be performing umrah mufradah or umrah tamattu? Or do I have the option of either? jazakallah kheir
Answer:
Wa Alaykum Assalam wr wb
If you have already performed obligatory Hajj or if Hajj has not yet became
obligatory on you, you can perform Umra Mofradah only during shawwal,
Zilqada and zilhijja.

Salaamun Allaikum Respected Syed, Hope you are fine. I pray to The Almighty to bless you with long life and good health. By the Grace of Almighty I earn considerably well and have savings almost close to what is been charged for Hajj this year. I may have to take a small loan to meet the Hajj expenses but will be easily be able to repay it soon after Hajj as I am expecting annual bonus from my company in August 2023. I had taken a personal loan from a bank few years back and I have been paying my installments (EMIs) to the bank regularly as per schedule. I still have few installments remaining, but even after my Hajj expenses I will Inshallah be able to continue paying the remaining installments on time as per schedule. My question is, considering the things narrated above, if Inshllah I get the Grace for performing Hajj this year, will my Hajj be considered as obligatory Hajj. May Imame Zaman (atfs) grace you with his Nazre Inayat. I am Muqallid of Ayt Syed Sistani (d.z.). Thank you Wsalaam

Yes, it will be the obligatory Hajj.

Salam alaykum dear sayed May Allah(swt) bless and protect you. Currently when performing umrah, the guards do not allow men who are not in ihram clothes to perform tawaf on the ground floor of masjidul haram. If I decide to perform tawaf of nisa 24 hours or so after performing taqseer, is it permissible to wear ihram clothes(without being in a state of ihram) in order to mislead the guards so that one can perform his obligation of performing tawaf of nisa and its prayer on the ground floor? May Allah(swt) shower you with his blessings

Yes, you can wear Ehram any time even with out being in the state of Ehram.

Assalamu alaykum inshaAllah you and your loved ones are well. If I reside in the west and i land in Jeddah airport intending to perform umrah mufradah, can you please confirm if I am allowed to put on the ihram from any meeqat other than Juhfah? For example can I put on the ihram and make the intention for umrah mufradah from meeqat Qarn al-Manazil? May Allah(swt) reward you
Answer:
Yes. You can start your Ehraam from any Meeqat you like depending on your
journey to Makkah.

Assalamu alaykum May Allah(swt) reward you abundantly. If a person has performed umrah mufradah and returned to his home country. If the man did not perform the tawaf of umrah at all but performed the: Saiy of umrah Taqseer Tawafun nisa 2 rakat of tawafun nisa Is such a person considered to be in a state of ihram in his home country until he returns to makkah or hires a representative to perform it on his behalf? Or is he not considered in ihram? Jazakallah kheiran

Wa Alaykum Assalam wr wb.
If he did not perform the Tawaf of Umra, he is still in Ehraam till all the
obligatories of Umra are performed including Tawaf of Umra Mofradah, two
Rak=E2=80=99ats after Tawaf, Sa=E2=80=99ee between Safa and Marwa, Taqseer,=
Tawaf Al-Nisha=E2=80=99
and two Rak=E2=80=99ats after it.
