Salam un alike 1) Can I pay Sadaqa with niyat of the names of Ahlulbayt (as)? 2) why is it not allowed to pay Khums to Ahlulbayt (as) and Sayeds ?
 
Answer:-  Salamun Alaykum wr wb

A1) Yes it is highly recommended to pay Sadaqa and do good deeds and gift
the reward to Ahlul Bayt (AS).

A2) Khums is two halves, one half of it is called Sahm e Sadat which the
right of poor and needy Sadaat. The other half is called Sahm e Imam which
is to be given to the Imam (A.S.) or his deputy ( Marja of Taqleed) or his
deputy to spend it in the most urgent good cause.

Answer:-  There many books but in Arabic. Kitabul Irshad by Shaikh Al-Mufeed is
available in English. You can read it on the Internet.
