Question:

Dear Respected Sayed InshaAllah you are in good health. Respected Sayed, I have a question about travelling and fasting. I am travelling to another city in the UK before Zohr on x day during Ramadhan. My current home is in London but one month from now, I shall be living in that city I am travelling to. Also, the reason of my travel is to look for a home there. Is this a valid reason to be able to keep my fast on that day. Eltemase Dua Sayyeda

Answer:

Not a valid reason at all, and as you are traveling before Zohr, your fast
of that day will be invalid. The city where you intend to reside at in the
future is not Watan for you yet. You need to really stay there for six
months, then take it as a Watan.
