Question:
Slm My Q is if someone has invested in money bonds is that allowed? And if he has won that money ( by won I mean the bonds have roped and the person wins the money)what should he do - can he give that money in charity is it valid (any kind of charity) - or can he help some where there is need for water and other daily needs Jzkl
Answer:
Investing in bonds or shares etc depends on the activities run by the bond
or share management. If the activities are fully lawful in Islam, then the
investment is allowed and the income is lawful. If the activities include
Haraam income, then it is unlawful. The money from unlawful business must
be given to poor people.
