Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, 'Generosity is one of the noble traits possessed by prophets. It is the pillar of belief, such that only a true believer will be generous, as well as one who possesses great certainty and high aspiration, for generosity is a gleam from the light of certainty, and the one who knows what he wants finds it easy to give away.

Asalam alaikum. I wanted to ask is yoga and meditation allowed? And what’s the best thing for someone who has anxiety disorder? A prayer or some advice. Thank you.

Answer:-  Wa Alaykum Assalam wr wb
Yoga can be a physical exercise like any other physical exercise which is
permissible. Pure exercise which help the health is permissible. The
problem starts if an exercise is linked with non Islamic religious claims.
That is the reason than some Muslim scholars in some countries said that
Yoga is not permissible for Muslims because they thought it linked with non
Islamic religious claims. You can go for yoga as a physical exercise only
if you find the exercise helpful for your health with out any non Islamic
religious claim or practice.
Meditation should be according to the teachings of the Prophet and Ahlul
Bayt (AS) otherwise it will wrong practice and will never be helpful to you=
.
Best way to treat anxiety is remembering Allah in reciting Quran, Du=E2=80=
=99a and
seeking forgiveness and reciting Salawaat.
Wassalam.
