I applied for a paid internship knowing that the number of vacancies are high and I might get selected despite being ineligible according to to eligibility criteria of the program. However, I got selected and now my question is whether it is permissible (halal) for me to use the amount being paid to me as a salary? P.S. I follow Ayatullah Sistani.
Answer:
If you have disclosed all facts about you to them and they selected you, you are then allowed to use the amount.
