Question ID 2841 Monday 28th of September 2015

Question:

1) are all nabi infallible? 2) If yes then Adam disobeyed God by eating that fruit which he had restricted. Then how is he infallible? 3) Did our imam made simple mistakes like mistakes in administration or in simple words can they make mistakes in some other issues 4) Can you show taqleed from Quran and ahlulbayt. Shukriya wassalam

Answer:

> 1. All prophets are infallibles with no exceptions at all. Allah (S.W.T.)
said in the Quran " We have not sent any messenger but to be obeyed by the
order of Allah (S.W.T.) ". This means all messengers and prophets must be
obeyed by people absolutely without any exceptions. This fact leads to the
fact that all prophets are infallibles because if any of them commits any
type of sin while Allah (S.W.T.) has ordered people to follow him, it will
amount to people also committing sin following him , and this result can
never be what Allah (S.W.T.) wants from people. The order of Allah (S.W.T.)
on human beings is to obey the prophets. This order can never be
implemented if any of the prophets commits any type of sin.

> 2. Prophet Adam (A.S.) never disobeyed Allah (s.w.t.), If you take the
facts from the authentic sources from the Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W.A.) and
his holy progeny Ahlulbayt (A.S.) .You should be careful from the version
of the non-Muslims or those who have taken it from non-Muslims . In fact
Adam (A.S.) never dis-obeyed any order of Allah (S.W.T.) even by eating
from that tree because he was being advised not to eat but never was
ordered not to eat.
>
> 3. The Twelve Infallible Imams (A.S.) after the prophet (S.A.W.A.) never
did any mistake in any field of life. They are the most pious servants of
Allah and the real successors of the the Prophet (S.A.W.A.) about whom
Allah (S.W.T.) has ordered all believers to obey absolutely when Allah
(S.W.T.) says in Quran Surah Nisa Verse 59 " O those who believe obey Allah
and obey the messenger & your divine leaders". This order of absolute
obedience means that they are completely infallible.

> 4. Taqleed is acting upon the authentic evidences in every religious
matter. Islam does not allow any religious act without authentic evidence .
Authentic evidences need specialized studies and researches in Islamic
Sciences. This research is done usually by the most learned scholars. Those
who are unable to provide and reach to evidences must refer and rely on the
verdict of the most learned , this is Taqlid.
> Allah (S.W.T.) in Quran Surah Al Anbiyah Ayat no. 7 orders people to
always refer to those who know more.
