Question:
Salam Un Alaikum, I have a 2 questions: (1) One Mominah Lady(A),has a concern that when she was young about 30 years ago she lost her two golden rings in her house where she lived with her husband mother in law, brother in law and his wife, she straight away suspected that her brother in law's wife Lady(B) stole it,but she did not open her mouth, because she feared backfire, as she [lady(A)] was not treated well in that house. one day she was shocked when saw lady(B) having her rings, again she kept quite, fearing ill treatment or a big fight. One day, Lady (A) found an opportunity to avenge, so she one day pinched a golden ear ring from Lady (B) to equalize tit for tat. the value of two rings which lady (b) stole may be more or less with the value of ear ring lady (A) stole. Now Lady (A) wants to know what to do, she cannot go and ask forgiveness from lady (B) as she fears that her Izaat will get ruined and again fight, how will she pay back the value of ear ring she stole in avenge,if she has to? will she need to pay back the value of 30 years back or today's value.or is there any other way. (2) 20 years ago, one boy was staying in hostel, one day he found out some one has stolen his calculator,he stated searching for it, but could not find it. he instead stole a similar calculator from other student. now he does not know, who that student was, how can he repay? Thanking you Iltimas e Dua Wasalam Bilal
Answer:
1) A must pay back to B the current value of what A has stolen from B. She
does not need to face her or give her directly but even indirect way to pay
her back is enough. This can be done in any way with out disclosing her
identity. The point is that A must pay back to B what ever A has taken from
B.
2) He must pay back the current value of what he has stolen to the person
from whom he has stolen. If he could not know the owner, he should then pay
the value to Mo'min poor persons on behalf of the owner.

Answer:
Quran itself is not to be sold but these people sell the application
