Question:
What are some tips for waking up for Fajr? Is there a supplication you can read?
Answer:
There are many acts which help in getting up for Fajr:
1. Sleeping early with Wudhu.
2. Reciting this Dua (RABBI EJ'ALNI MUQEEMASSALAAT WAMIN THURRYATIN RABBAN
WATAQABBAL DU'AA).
3. Setting an alarm.
4. Supplicating to Allah in your own language to help you wake up for Fajr
and avoid you the evil of Shaitan.
5. Remembering the great reward of performing Fajr Prayer on time, and it
is the time when Imam Al-Mahdi performs Fajr, and remembering the great
loss of those who miss Fajr Prayer. (The Hadeeth narrated from the Prophet
(SAWA) says: He who sleeps leaving Fajr Prayer will be called from the sky:
O loser.

Question:
Salam I understand as a traveler one must shorten the Salat. but does this include if im going for example shopping or the the park/friends house, etc where the distance from where I live is far enough where I can not hear the Azan? or one has to travel city to city to become a traveler and shorten the prayer?
Answer:
The distance of the travel should be 44 KM (either one way or going and
coming) from the end of your city to the start of the other city or place,
then Salat must be shortened, no matter why you travel , as far as the aim
of the travel is lawful. The place from which you start shortening the
Salat is when you are unable to see the houses of your city, town or
village.

Answer:
If it was said unintentionally, Salaat is valid but two Sajda of Sahw must

Salam un alike My school is 25km each way far from where i live. Both ways is basically 50km and i travel this distance everyday. Am i considered as a traveller? Do i pray as a traveller in my school? What about Fasting in this situation? 2)I undrestand in order for one to pray as a Traveller one must be far enough from the Town where he can not hear the (Azan) but how far is this in KM? How far should i be in KM from the Town to shorten the Salat? Thankyou

A1. You must pray full Salaat and fast .
