Salam-Mun-Ale-Kum, What rules must a woman follow for prayers post her delivery ? Is the ruling any different for continuous flow of blood or occasional flow for 40 days and beyond ? Was-Salaam Siraj
Post natal period (Nifaas) when the woman is not allowed to pray Namaz or fa=
st, is usually the same number of days of her menstrual monthly period. If t=
he blood flow remains more than those days, it can be extended to maximum of=
ten days starting from the time of delivery. Any blood after ten days in no=
t Nifaas but Istihazah. Woman must pray Namaz immediately after blood stops b=
ut not more than ten days, even if the blood flow continues , because that b=
lood is not Nifaas.
The claim that woman should not pray for 40 days has no foundation in Islami=
c evidences at all and it might have come from non Muslim culture.

You may refer to trusted local Ulama who can inform you about the details

Woman reciter (Zakira) is allowed to sit on Mimber just like Zakir men. She
should give the Mimber its due respect and guide the women to the teachings

Salam I have recently got married alhamdullilah. I decided to go on implanon it a form of contraception that lasts for three years as I am on certain medication that can cause child death and disability of a child if i accidentally become pregnant. I have been having irregular period. After 7 days my bleeding stopped as this is my ruitine bleeding. (7 days period) After some time a day later i had blood but it contained the signs for isteghasa not hayz. With this intention I had intercourse with my husband. Classing this blood as isteghasa. Is this correct knowing my hayz is only for 7 days. The bleeding is still going on even though it is not time of my period. Please could you get back to me it is very important. My marja is ayatullah khameini wsalam
Menstruation can not come again before ten days of cleanliness. Blood
coming after seven days is not Hayz but Estihaza during which you need to
perform Wudhu for every Salaah, if the bleeding is little, and you must add
one Ghusl before Morning Prayer if the blood is more, and if the blood is
very much then you need to perform three Ghusls; one bofore Morning Prayer,
second before Zohr Prayer and third before Maghrib Prayer.
Sexual relationship with your husband is allowed while you are in Estihaza.

Dear Sir ASAK Can women sit outside masjid ul haram during the time of menses? Basically Sheikh can you please explain in detail? I know women cant enter any mosque during menses. Best regards
Woman in menses is not allowed to enter Masjid, but sitting outside the Masjid is allowed. Many ladies in menses sit on the Safa which closed to Masjid al Haraam but not part of it. Sitting on Safa itself is recommended.

Salaam sayyed, I am using a family planning method (cupper T) which extends my period to 10 days instead of my normal days 7 or 8 days. Also, the interval between 2 periods is now 2 weeks or 15 days instead of my usual 3 weaks. My question is should pray after counting the usual days or wait for 10 days? Should I stop praying when it starts? I follow Ayat. Khamnei
If your period has become ten days then you should take it as ten days. Stop praying when it starts and perform Ghusl and pray when it ends.
