My question is: 1. if using a Brush whos Bristles are made of other Animal Hair e.g. Horse, Badger, Goat - (not an impure animal) - does using such a brush on wet hair make Najis? 2. If using a Brush if not sure if the Bristtles are from Pig or possibly fomr another anumal - e.g. Badger, Horse - does using such a brush on wet hair make Najis? Thank you

Question ID 3231 Thursday 24th of March 2016

Question:

salam agha i am in taqlid of ayatullah sistani d.z if a clothe become najis by semen and after removing the semen from the clothe and making the clothe paak there is something sticky/lust on clothe and even my hands are aslo sticky what is that is pakk or not plz rply wssalam

Answer:

The cloth can not be Paak until you remove the semen from it. Stickiness on
the cloth or your hands means that the semen was not totally removed.
If you are sure that the semen was totally removed before or during washing
and stickiness is from another material like washing powder etc, then the
cloth is Paak.

Question ID 3188 Wednesday 2nd of March 2016

Question:

sa Syed, I asked a question last week - im sure you must be very busy, was wondering if you had the chance to answer it. Regarding doing istibra before washing the back package. Is this istibra still in order and can we continue to assume any wetness or movement felt after (while washing the back package) is paak if cannot be determined to be urine. Thank you.

Answer:

Istibra does not need washing the anus before it. Whenever istibra was
done, it helps in clearing the urine track and ignoring any doubtful
wetness after it.
