Question ID 1230 - Interaction in Social Life - 2014-03-23 21:30:02 |
Salaam alaikum,
To celebrate my friend's engagement, a dinner has been organised between her close friends. We are all girls aged 22 and from different religions and cultures and none of us drink alcohol.
My parents believe that I'm not allowed to go out for a dinner, even if it's only with girls, because I'm unmarried.
I respect their decision as they are my parents but is this social interaction between girls after Maghrib forbidden in Islam?
Thankyou very much. |

Answer:- Your parents are the most who are concerned about your safety and dignity.
When they stop you from any thing, they just want your good. I advise you
to listen to your parents as far as they do not order you to commit a sin
or leave an obligatory act.
Wassalam.
