Question:

There is a lot of discussion about Homosexuality, LGBT rights e.t.c e.t.c. till now these issues were in the western society. But now in the Indian subcontinent and especially in India we have lot of discussions about human rights and liberty. These people have formed NGOs and civil social groups to gain popularity and they are succeeding in it. Unfortunately Ulama and scholars are not talking about these issues among our masses. I have worked a little on this problem, from logical and social perspective but I still need to study more to enhance my ideology and to counter their arguments. Kindly refer some books written in this regard, specially if by Shaheed Murtada Mutahhari. I will be grateful to you. Wassalam

Answer:

Every book of Tafseer of Quran mentions about the people of Lut and why and
how Allah (SWT) has destroyed them. Please refer to such books and also to
books of Hadeeth which mention the major sins like =DA=DE=C7=C8 =C7=E1=C7=
=DA=E3=C7=E1
Eqabul A'maal by Shaikh Sadouq.

Asalam - O-alaikum Molana I am Zorain Masood and i am 8 years old,I heard in one of your speech that playing Chess is haram? Because I play chess at my school as part of school curriculum. Please would you be kind enough to explain the reason. Awaiting for your reply Best Regards Zorain Haider Masood Sent from my iPad

Answer:

Every rule in Islam is based on our benefits and every forbidden act is
dangerously harmful. Chess is forbidden in Islam according to authentic
Hadeeths which means that it is very harmful, although we might not know
the details of the harm, but we fully trust Allah, His Absolute knowledge
and Zhis Absolute wisdom, so we believe that it is harmful as He ordered us
to avoid it.
