Question:

Salaam Alaykum, In one of your Q&A session in Ahlulbayt tv, you said that coca-cola is haraam as they add pork extract to it and you saw it with your own eyes whilst you were in Egypt. I live in the UK and therefore I contacted coca-cola company and they said to me that their drinks are suitable for vegetarians/vegans as they do not contain any animal derivatives. Please could you help me with this situation. May Allah reward you. Jazakallah, Sajjad Suleyman

I did not say that at all and I have never been to any of the factories of coca-cola. Please ask those who told you that I said that to show you the clip.

If you know that the food was touched with wetness by Kafir and became
Najis, then it will be not allowed to eat it.
Any local Alim can explain it in Urdu.

Salam alaykum agha I want to know weather gelatin is haram? If yes, then are ALL types of gelatin haram?

Answer:

Wa Alaykum Assalam wr wb
It depends on the source of the gelatine. Vegetable gelatine is Allowed. Animal gelatine depends on the animal whether it is Halal or not. Gelatine derived from Halal animal is Halal and gelatines derived from non Halal animal is not allowed.

Answer:

Not Halal because Oyster is not Halal to eat and any material from non Halal animal is not Halal.

It is Haraam (forbidden) to eat squid and any sea food except shrimps (prawns) and scaled fish.
