Question:

Assalam Alaikum Sayyed. My mother heard you answer a question regarding Qaza fasts on Ahlulbayt tv. Apparently, you said you can make Qaza fasts up by fasting only to Zuhr time. Please can you clarify this and upto what time exactly. Jazak Allah for your time and efforts

Answer:

I did not say that at all and there is a misunderstang here. The question
was about breaking the fast during the day which means invalidating the
fast and making it void. If the fast is recommended, it can be made void
any time, but if it was a Qaza fast, it can be made void any time before
Zuhr, but it is not allowed to make void after Zuhr and making it void
after Zuhr is a sinful act and it has a Kaffara of feeding or clothing ten
poor persons, and if not able, then fasting three days.
Valid Fast must be completed from before Fajr till Maghrib.
Wassalam.

Question:

Assalam. My question is that in the last month of ramazan i shifted to chennai from kashmir for B-Tech so i couldnt fast for the months last 20 days...as it was a new place for me...and totally differnt environment(in a sense harsh) from kashmir...what about my fasting

Answer:

Changing place does not mean not performing your religious duties like
fasting during the month of Ramazan. If you did not fast deliberately, you
must keep Qaza for all the missed days and pay kaffara of feeding 60 poor
persons for every missed day.
If you missed the fast because you were travelling, then just Qaza for all
the missed days is enough.

Question ID 1111 Monday 3rd of February 2014

Question:

Assalam. My question is that due to board exams i couldnt fast in a month of ramazan. I had strong headaches due to fasting so i couldnt study. So what about those ramzan days...?

Answer:

If you could not fast because of real illness, you need to fast for all the
missed fast days as Qaza, but if you did not fast deliberately, then you
need to pay Kaffara (feeding 60 poor persons for every day) along with the
Qaza for every missed day.

Salaamun Aleikum I have a number of Qadha fasts due from the past years and want to pay kaffarah for them. But in European countries it is difficult to find such people who are needy. Can you please inform us where and how we can send our money, so that it can be used as a kaffarha.

Answer:

Kaffara of deliberate missing fast is feeding 60 poor persons for every
day. It must be given as food to the poor whether in your country or any
other country.
